March Newsletter

Hello Reader,

In case you missed it (which you probably haven't, because I've been sending WAY more emails than I ever normally send) the biggest news this month is that my nutrition and lifestyle for depression course is finally LIVE! But I also have a few other things to share with you this month, including an interview I did with diabetes expert Lucia Tiffany on her YouTube channel where I got the opportunity to talk about the connection between diabetes and depression, my newest recipe post, and my upcoming talk (airing tomorrow!) on the power of trauma-informed care.

New Recipe: Salmon Primavera Pesto Pasta

The perfect spring recipe to get your omega-3s and nourishing protein, along with all the lovely spring veggies coming into season!

Integrative Depression Course is HERE!

It's been SO MANY MONTHS in the making, editing, and re-making. I'm so excited to share it with all of you.

This course is a self-paced video series with over 3 hours of evidence-based content to help you feel empowered to truly have an impact on your own mental health. Plus, I've included a sample meal plan with tons of recipes, a food and mood habit tracker checklist, and tons of other actionable, powerful resources.

You can watch module 1 for free and read more about the course here.

In the words of one student,

"This course is wonderful as it shows the lifestyle as a whole. For me dealing with depression and taking medicine for it, I realized that it's not enough. This course helped me understand and put to work essential practices as living with the circadian rhythm and eating more non-manufactured food. It helped me have a more diverse nutrition too. I'm very glad I took it!"

Diabetes and Depression Interview

I recently had the opportunity to talk with Lucia Tiffany on her YouTube channel to discuss the connections between diabetes and depression, and what we can do about it. Take a listen and let me know what you think!

Conversation on Trauma-Informed Care Airs Tomorrow!

Many of the folks reading this newsletter are healthcare providers themselves. Tomorrow, March 13, I'm presenting on the power of Trauma-Informed Care at a free virtual summit called Freedom from the Grind. You all know TIC is one of my big passion projects, so I'd love to have you join me if you're interested. There are lots of other health professionals speaking on a variety of topics at this summit as well--it's been going on since March 3, with recordings still available for all the topics you might be interested in catching up on. Registration info is below if you're interested!
